Knowing that hooking ‘the big one’ and landing him are two different things, we have made this line 150’ long and given it a 50lb test core.
The 150’ length allows you to exert yourself on the fish much earlier on in the fight and the 50lb core - that’s there to see if you can hook something that can break it!!
